Study is one of many important topics which students meet every day. Study is their task and main demand. As task, Students often feel that study is hard-difficult-and-boring thing. Moreover study with just-listen-someone-speak-there method or reading book at all their time, students going to feel bored and sleepy.
For facing this problem, education scientists made another method called peer discussing group method. This method was made to make study activity became more fun and enjoyable for students. In this method, students collect information actively and share the information which they got and discuss it with their friends in the group in accordance with the main topic of the task.
Although peer discussing group method is considered as enjoyable studying method, actually many people judge that this method is not efficient at all. Actually, many people consider that this method is not efficient at all. This is why this method when it will be realized in the real world it is so difficult. One of these assumptions is that group members often lose focus on the main issues. It happens because so much information and ideas from each member of the group that mingled into one and it make discussion activity run from the main issues slowly. But this assumption was refused by discussion which has a good regulation. With the good regulation in the discussing activity, peer discussing group method will walk easily and stay in order. It peacefulness can made by put a chairman in the group the he/she will help their group to still talk about the topic with the enjoyable method.
Besides that, peer discussing group also time-wasting because there are many kind of people, the students in the discussion group, and their character as some children and teenagers. Adolescents and children is a period in which an individual is still unstable and more playful than serious discussion, discuss can change become another conversation with another issues, or worse the discussion become a joke event. And this assumption can break because the discussion group can make a discussion’s schedule to direct the way of discussion. So, the discussion will not walk out from the main topic.
There are other assumptions related to time wasting. This assumption says that discusses a waste of time for students to make just talking about the same topic of discussion in all the time and just walk in place without any progress and a better conclusion, just make stagnation. But the bad assumption that it's exactly the positive impact on students. The material they discuss their memories tied in with strong, they are also trained express their ideas, respect for others, and mature thinking.
Basically, the method of learning by creating peer groups to discuss is one method that is quite pleasant and eliminate boredom learners in their learning activities. The assumption is that this discussion is just a waste of time because it does not focus or other problems can be rebutted with a focused discussion and scheduled. Should not such a tight schedule, the schedule is pretty flexible, comfortable, and stay focused
